Please note that effective March 1, 2026, session fees will be updated. Appointments with Psychologists will be $225 per hour, and appointments with Certified Canadian Counsellors and Social Workers will be $170 per hour.
We understand that cost can be a concern. If you have financial limitations or questions about how this change may impact you, please reach out to Lumen directly or speak with your therapist. We are always open to conversations about support and options.
A credit card is required to set up your account and hold appointments. If you do not have a credit card, please email hello@lumenpsychology.ca to have your account and initial appointment set up for you without a credit card.
Jenna Ashby

Jenna Ashby is a Certified Canadian Counsellor who works with individuals aged 10 and up. Jenna is a warm and compassionate counsellor who prioritizes creating a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and supported. She understands that starting counselling can feel uncertain, and works to create a safe, supportive space where clients can feel heard, seen, and validated. Jenna encourages clients to show up as they are, without pressure to have everything figured out, and is passionate about collaborating with clients as they work toward meaningful change.
Jenna’s approach to counselling focuses on supporting overall wellbeing, recognizing the connection between mental health and how we show up in our daily lives, relationships, and areas of performance. Jenna values a holistic approach and takes time to understand each person’s unique experiences and goals. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and humanistic approaches. Children’s Counselling

Amy’s genuine and relaxed approach will help to build a relationship with your child that makes counselling an enjoyable experience. Prior to working with your child, Amy will meet with you to discuss concerns and set goals for counselling. Amy often works with children to build skills that help with:

Assessment and Diagnosis
Amy also provides diagnostic assessment for children, teens, and adults for a variety of concerns, including Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, ADHD, and Anxiety or Mood Disorders. Following assessment, Amy will provide you with a detailed report, complete with recommendations, and will spend time with you to make sure you understand the results and are able to get all of your questions answered.
